August 14, 2007 Today I got all hyped up picking a book from Cafe Galilee. Such a nice concept albeit I don't think it'll be very successful here given the kiasu keep-because-it's-free! attitude.
http://bookcross.sg anyway I think the site is rather unorganised because they don't separate the posts from those book finders and the general public's "this is good" comments.
Anyway I borrowed Ties that Bind which contains various short stories because I'm particularly interested in the Tanjong Rhu story by Minfong Ho, something I read on some busstop near the library some time ago.
Vila'ge at Heeren. The cashier automatically requested for UOB card when we were trying to divide the sum into 4 and then because of the card we had further discount. $12 each! Heh.
JJ the daring soul just shaved almost half her head and at first I thought she was joking. Then when she told me she was serious all I could do was "omg" all the way trying to picture how it'd look like. But the end effect was rather pleasant and took just a few seconds to get used to.
MS to play pool and I just rule... with straight shots. HAHAa.
I have to admit I'm one rather wild idiot running and shouting around town today.
I don't know. Somehow I'm getting along coping with the situation now very well. It's weird nevertheless, but I like it this way, for now. (:
It's no point looking back and being upset at what used to be.
